Step through the doors of the greatest library ever imagined. Alexandria is a beautifully crafted home for the books that shaped civilization — the epics, philosophies, novels, and ideas that have survived thousands of years to reach you. Wander through six eras of the written word, from Homer's Ancient World to the great voices of the 20th century, each rendered in a warm marble-and-gold design inspired by classical architecture. THE LIBRARY OF THE WORLD Alexandria brings together 3,000 years of literature and thought in one place: The Iliad and The Odyssey, The Divine Comedy, Don Quixote, Hamlet, Pride and Prejudice, Crime and Punishment, 1984, One Hundred Years of Solitude, and dozens more of the essential works of world literature — each with its real cover, an author biography and portrait, a signature quote, and the story behind why it still matters. WALK THROUGH THE AGES Explore six distinct eras — Ancient World, Medieval, Renaissance, Enlightenment, 19th Century, and Modern — each with its own emblem, atmosphere, and color, so the history of ideas feels like a journey rather than a list. CURATED SHELVES Browse hand-picked collections built around a theme: Stoic Wisdom, The Great Epics, The Russian Soul, Dystopian Visions, Stories of Love, and more — a starting point when you don't know what to read next. SEARCH MILLIONS OF BOOKS Beyond the curated library, Alexandria connects to the Open Library catalog to search over a hundred million books by title, author, or subject — with real covers, publication years, and edition counts. YOUR OWN SHELF Bookmark any book to add it to Your Shelf, and write a private note about what it meant to you. Everything you save stays on your device — nothing is uploaded, and there's no account to create. CRAFTED, NOT TEMPLATED Alexandria is designed the way a great library should feel: hand-drawn classical illustrations, a 3D coverflow you can browse with your fingertip, liquid-glass panels, parallax covers, and gentle animation throughout. No ads. No clutter. No noise — just books. Whether you're a lifelong reader building a mental map of the classics, a student looking for your next assignment, or someone who simply loves beautiful things, Alexandria is a quiet, elegant place to fall back in love with reading. The medicine for the soul is closer than you think.
