Borinquen is a beautiful, bilingual (English & Spanish) guide to Puerto Rico — part interactive encyclopedia, part travel companion. Whether you're planning a trip, reconnecting with your roots, or simply curious about La Isla del Encanto, everything is one tap away.

• Culture — the island's story across seven eras, from Taíno roots to today.
• Cuisine — 200+ classic dishes, every one with a full recipe.
• Music — from bomba and plena to salsa and reggaetón.
• Locations — beaches, tourist spots, historic sites, museums, nature, restaurants, shops and more. Browse by town, with hours and one-tap Apple Maps directions.
• Map — all 78 municipios drawn out; tap a pueblo to see everything located there.
• Vacation Planner (free) — a day-by-day itinerary with a trip budget, a packing checklist built from your plans, trip notes for tickets & bookings (photograph them instead of typing!), favorites, and one-tap export to Apple Calendar.
• Reviews — read fellow travelers' takes on any place, and add your own with photos and star ratings.
PLAN WITH AI
Tell the built-in planner where you're staying and what you like, and it builds a personalized, day-by-day itinerary from real places across the island.

Great to learn about the island, local history and places to visit. Extremely well organized and well presented

This is an excellent application to learn more about Puerto Rico in general. Really worth the experience
The island's year, in the app.
• A calendar of every fiesta patronal — all 78 towns — plus the public holidays and the big celebrations: the Calle San Sebastián festival, Ponce's carnival, Loíza's Santiago Apóstol, Hatillo's masks, the Jayuya indigenous festival and more. Filter by patronales, holidays or festivals.
• A "Coming up" card on the home screen tells you what's next without opening anything — the next fiesta, the next holiday, and how many days away it is.
• The home screen is tidier. "On This Day" and "Coming up" now start closed and open with a tap, so the sections you came for are right there when you open the app.
• Portraits are no longer cut off. Tall paintings and photographs — the governors especially — were being cropped through the head to fill a wide banner. They now show whole.
