Dice is a fast, beautiful polyhedral dice roller for tabletop RPGs, board games, classrooms, and everyday decisions. Pick a die, choose how many to roll, add a modifier if you need one, then tap Roll — or simply shake your device like a real handful of dice. The accelerometer feels your motion, the dice tumble in 3D, and haptic feedback clicks in your palm as they slow down and land. It is the closest thing to real dice your phone can do.
ALL 7 POLYHEDRAL DICE
d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 — every die you need for tabletop play, all in one app. Switching takes a single tap, so you can jump from a d20 attack roll to d6 damage without breaking the flow of your game.
ROLL SETS LIKE 3d6
Roll up to 12 dice of the same type at once. Every individual result is shown on its own die, and the total is calculated instantly. Whether it is 2d6 for a board game or 8d6 for a big spell, you see everything at a glance.
MODIFIERS FOR TABLETOP PLAY (+X)
Add a modifier from -30 to +30 for skill checks and damage rolls. The total updates automatically and the breakdown (dice total + modifier) is displayed, so there is never any mental math to double-check. Tap the modifier value once to reset it to zero.
SHAKE TO ROLL — OUR SIGNATURE FEATURE
This is what makes Dice special. You do not have to press anything: physically shake your device and the dice start tumbling, driven by the accelerometer. The numbers flicker rapidly, slow down, and settle with a satisfying thunk of haptics — just like dice coming to rest on a table. Every shake is a fresh roll.
ROLL HISTORY
Every roll is logged automatically: the notation (like 3d6+2), each individual die result, the total, and the time. Up to 100 entries are kept on your device. Tap any entry to instantly restore that exact setup — die type, count, and modifier — and roll it again.
CRITICALS AND FUMBLES
Roll all maximums and the app celebrates with a Critical banner, special colors, and a double-tap haptic. Roll all ones and you get the dreaded Fumble. The big moments at the table deserve to feel big.
TWO THEMES
Night, a calm dark table for evening sessions, and Felt, a bright green gaming table. Switch anytime with one tap; your choice is remembered.
ENGLISH AND JAPANESE
The app follows your device language automatically, and you can also pick English or Japanese manually in Settings.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account and no sign-up. Your settings and roll history are stored only on your device and never leave it. The gameplay works offline; the only network use is the in-app ads, served by Google AdMob (which may use an advertising identifier). On first launch you can decline tracking via Apple's ATT; ads still work, just non-personalized.
HAPTICS DONE RIGHT
Selecting a die, changing the count, starting a roll, tumbling, landing — each has its own carefully tuned vibration. You can feel the dice rolling without looking at the screen. Criticals and fumbles get their own signature haptics.
