CuePro: Pool Shot Advisor
Aim, run out, find a table
Free · In‑App Purchases
New: Live Aim. Point your phone at the table and see a true-size ghost ball and the aim line right on the cloth, following you as you line up the shot.
CuePro turns your phone into a pool coach that actually sees the table.
Photograph the table and CuePro reads the ball positions into a layout you can check and correct with a tap. Then it shows you the best shot on the table: which ball, which pocket, the exact aim line, and the spin to use. Can't make a clean shot? CuePro finds the safety that leaves your opponent nothing.
RUN THE WHOLE RACK
Beyond just the next shot, CuePro plans your run-out shot after shot, with the position you need to keep the table open. Every recommendation accounts for cut angle, cue ball travel, and the leave for what comes next.
SHOT BY SHOT
Or take the rack one ball at a time. CuePro puts three real options in front of you on every shot, each with the stroke it needs, and you pick the one you'd actually shoot. Undo anything you don't like, and play safe whenever the table says so.
LIVE AIM
See the shot on the real table. Tap the pocket, frame the object ball, and CuePro places a true-size ghost ball and the aim line on the cloth through your camera. The line follows you as you walk around to line up. Needs an iPhone or iPad with AR.
EVERY GAME, EVERY TABLE
• 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball, with the right rules for each
• Banks, where every ball has to come off a rail — single or multi-rail
• One Pocket, planned the way the game is really played: when to score, when to move a ball up, and when to give it back
• 7-foot, 8-foot, and 9-foot tables
• Center-ball or full spin control, from beginner to advanced
• Balls out mode for when it's do-or-die and every cut is worth trying
WEEKLY RUNOUT
One rack a week, the same rack for every player, proven runnable before it ever goes out. Read it, run it, and see how close you got.
PRACTICE
Drills gives you twelve set-ups to shoot on your own table — making balls, playing shape, or both, plus pattern run-outs with a sample run to step through. Log how many you made and watch your best, your average, and your lifetime percentage climb. Pattern Play hides the answer — the rack comes up with no lines on it, you call the pocket, and only then does CuePro show you the pattern it had in mind. Stroke Trainer uses the phone in your grip hand to catch a stroke that drifts off line, goes too far back or through, or twists at the wrist.
FIND A ROOM
Pool halls, bars with tables, and billiard shops near you, or in any city, ZIP, or address. Directions, a call button, and your regular spots saved.
REFEREE
Settle a disputed hit with slow-motion instant replay up to 240fps, frame by frame, so you can see exactly which ball the cue touched first.
TOURNAMENT
Single elimination, double elimination, or round robin with a playoff. Any size field, table assignments that stay put as results come in, finishing places as they're decided, prize money split by finish, and the whole bracket on a TV over AirPlay.
SCORING
A side-by-side scoreboard with a shot clock, built for the table, not a scorer's notebook. Keeps sets as well as games, and casts to a TV.
SHARE ANY LAYOUT
Send a table position to a friend with a single tap, they open it and see the exact same layout, ready to work through.
FREE TO START
Three-ball run-outs, the weekly puzzle, the scoreboard, and the room finder cost nothing and don't expire. Pro opens the full rack, table scanning, Live Aim, Referee, Tournament, and Practice.

• Live Aim — point your phone at the table and see the shot. Tap the pocket, frame the object ball, and tap Detect: a true-size ghost ball and the aim line appear on the real table, and the line follows you as you walk around to line up. Needs an iPhone or iPad with AR. Part of CuePro Pro.
• Table scanning finds the table more reliably. It no longer locks onto just part of the table, and it reads the same colours whether you held the phone upright or sideways.
• The scan picks out the cue ball correctly when a striped ball shows its white side, and red and orange balls near the foot spot no longer disappear on red cloth.
• Fewer duplicate balls after a scan, and two balls touching each other now show up as two.
• Some tables no longer come out of a scan turned sideways.
• Naming balls after a scan is quicker: each ball shows a close-up from your photo and its most likely numbers, picking a number another ball already has swaps the two, and Name Balls steps you through every unnamed one.
• CuePro now lets you know when a newer version is on the App Store.
• Bug fixes and polish throughout.
