Zoom got a serious upgrade, on both cameras and in dual-camera mode. Ultra-wide 0.5x, fixed: - The 0.5x button now appears whenever the ultra-wide lens is actually usable, and never when it is not. Previously it could show up and do nothing. - Switching to 4K no longer quietly costs you the 0.5x lens. - The lens buttons stay on screen while you use the zoom dial, instead of disappearing for a couple of seconds. A wider selfie: - On iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air, the front camera now uses the wide Center Stage sensor, so you can zoom out to fit more people into a selfie. Dual camera: - Zoom each camera out to its ultra-wide, independently, in both the floating inset and the 50/50 split view. - The inset zoom now runs all the way to 24x, matching the main camera.
