Zoom got a serious upgrade, on both cameras and in dual-camera mode. Ultra-wide 0.5x, fixed: - The 0.5x button now appears whenever the ultra-wide lens is actually usable, and never when it is not. Previously it could show up and do nothing. - Switching to 4K no longer quietly costs you the 0.5x lens. - The lens buttons stay on screen while you use the zoom dial, instead of disappearing for a couple of seconds. A wider selfie: - On iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air, the front camera now uses the wide Center Stage sensor, so you can zoom out to fit more people into a selfie. Dual camera: - Zoom each camera out to its ultra-wide, independently, in both the floating inset and the 50/50 split view. - The inset zoom now runs all the way to 24x, matching the main camera. Frame rate: - 120 fps is now available where the hardware supports it, and the frame rate list only offers rates your device can really record. Plus stability fixes around zoom and lens switching.
