A note from the developer
I built this app because of my own mom.
She lives alone and takes several medications for high blood pressure every day. One evening I called to check on her, and she said, "I think I took them… but I'm not sure." In that moment, I realized phone calls weren't enough. I needed to actually know — not guess.
Then other things came up. She once ran out of a medication without realizing it until it was too late to refill. Another time, her doctor asked how consistently she'd been taking her meds — and neither of us could answer.
So I built MedGuard: missed doses can notify me after 30 minutes, low stock triggers a warning before she runs out, every dose is logged automatically, and she can export a PDF report to hand her doctor at appointments. Later I added voice memos, because she struggles with typing but always has things she wants to remember.
Every feature in this app — she taught me it was needed.
