Earshape is an honest volume booster, equalizer, sound enhancer, and audio amplifier for the music, podcasts, and other sound your phone is actually allowed to touch. Point it at your own music files, voice memos, imported video, and downloaded podcasts, and it makes them sound fuller and louder without the harsh clipping that ruins a track.
Here is the honest part most of these apps hide: on iPhone, the big streaming music and video apps cannot be boosted at all. Earshape tells you that up front, then does a genuinely good job making your phone louder with the sources it can shape.
Tune the bands until the bass and treble sit right, then save that setting to the exact pair of headphones or earbuds you are using. Plug in a different pair and your saved profile comes back on its own.
