One person, not four categories: checked places, trip planner, label tool, meal planner. 14,000+ places in 90+ countries. Safety information is never behind a paywall. How to Gluten Free helps coeliacs eat away from home: the places we checked, a trip planner, a label tool and a meal planner, with the same evidence rule under each. ONE PERSON, NOT FOUR CATEGORIES Whether you are travelling, packing a lunchbox, cooking or reading a label, you are the same coeliac. One site, one app, one community. Four tools, one person: EAT OUT - Atlas, the places we checked 14,000+ gluten-free places in 90+ countries, on a map that never flattens the difference: a gold star for verified dedicated kitchens, a separate marker for self-declared places awaiting our check, GF-serving from shared kitchens. Every listing carries a dated evidence line: the source we relied on and the date we last checked it. Filter by what a coeliac actually asks: Dedicated fryer, Separate prep, Staff trained, GF menu. Recall alerts for the countries you choose. Stadiums, theme parks, hospitals - the venue types few maps bother with. PLAN - Compass, your trip and route planner (beta) Build a trip stop by stop and see the listed places along the way - at both airports, around the midpoint, on every stretch. A scouting aid for the week before, not road navigation. LEARN - Label Lab and the field guide Label Lab tells you what a gluten-free claim, a logo or a "may contain" line means on a label - pick your market: EU, UK, USA, Canada or Australia/New Zealand. Translation cards show staff what you need, in their language, written for coeliacs, not for tourists. The Ingredient Decoder reads an ingredient list with you, the Translator carries coeliac questions to the table, and the Flour Library explains every gluten-free flour and what it stands in for. COOK - Meal Lab (beta) A week planner with a grocery list: plan the week, shop once. New, and growing. WHAT "DEDICATED" AND "VERIFIED BY US" MEAN The Dedicated star marks a kitchen that is 100% gluten-free - nothing containing gluten is prepared there, so there is no shared fryer, oven or prep bench to worry about. "Verified by us" means exactly that: a person at How to Gluten Free checked the evidence - never a machine, never a review. A place that calls itself dedicated but hasn't been through our check is shown as "Dedicated - self-declared, pending our check", clearly and without the star. Community reports are read by a person before they appear; they are experience, never a safety verdict, and they never set a tier. HELP US MAP IT Found a dedicated bakery we don't have yet? Somewhere that closed, or changed its protocol? Tap "Suggest a place" or "Report a change" - three taps, straight to our review team, and a person checks every single one. A map of real places is never finished: it gets better every week, and your finds are part of that. SAFETY INFORMATION IS NEVER BEHIND A PAYWALL Tiers, the evidence line, search, the map, Label Lab, the translation cards and recall alerts are free for everyone, with no account needed - and they stay free. Any optional membership only ever unlocks travel conveniences such as offline packs and trip boards, never the evidence. A NOTE ON TRUST How to Gluten Free is a travel and communication aid - not a medical service, and not a guarantee. Always confirm the gluten-free protocol with staff when you arrive.
