Lockboxy is a private, encrypted vault that lives on your device.
Photos, videos, files, cards, passwords, notes, voice memos and contacts are encrypted on your iPhone and locked behind your own passcode. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to send it.
WHAT YOU CAN KEEP IN IT
• Photos and videos, with albums and full-screen playback

• Wallet entries — bank cards, passwords, Wi-Fi logins, IDs
• Notes, voice memos and a private contact list
• A built-in browser that downloads straight into the vault
SECURITY
• AES-256-GCM encryption on device; the key is derived from your passcode with Argon2id and is never stored
• Face ID / Touch ID unlock
• Auto-lock when you leave the app, plus panic-lock gestures
• A Security Log of every unlock attempt
• An optional Recovery Key, so a forgotten passcode is not the end of your data

OPENING SCREEN (OPTIONAL)
If you would rather the app were less conspicuous on a shared phone, you can change what Lockboxy opens to: a calculator, a notes app, a weather app or a set of tools — all of which actually work. It is off unless you turn it on, under Settings › Security › "Opening screen". The screen that offers it explains what each option does and which field your passcode goes into, and you can switch back to the lock screen at any time.

Lockboxy is free with the full encryption core (up to 30 photos/videos and 10 documents). Premium unlocks unlimited storage, a Self-Destruct Passcode, Recovery Key, encrypted cloud backup, vault-wide search and more.

Lockboxy holds no account, no cloud copy of your vault, and no password reset. That is deliberate: if we cannot read your vault, neither can anyone else.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
• Premium Monthly — auto-renewable subscription, billed every 1 month
• Premium Yearly — auto-renewable subscription, billed every 12 months, includes a 3-day free trial
• Premium Lifetime — one-time purchase, not a subscription
Prices vary by region and are shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Fixes for problems reported after 1.2.0:
• Videos in the photo vault now play, and start playing when you open them. Previously only a still frame was shown.
• PDFs now preview inside the app.
• The opening screen you chose is now kept when you relaunch the app from cold. It used to fall back to the lock screen until the next auto-lock.
• The first-run tour now mentions extra vaults, the opening screen, alternate icons and colour themes.
