Space Race is a cosmic card game — a fast, friendly duel across the galaxy.
Draw, plan, and fire your engines to be the first ship to travel 1,000 light-years. But the void fights back: black holes freeze your drive, asteroid strikes cripple your hull, and an empty fuel tank leaves you drifting. Patch the damage, top off the tank, and blast past your rival before they reach the finish.
It's the classic "hazards and remedies" race, reimagined among the stars — easy to learn in one hand, with just enough strategy to keep every game close.

Version 1.2 is a polish pass across the whole table:
- Slingshot cinematics now play for both pilots - dodge a hazard or watch your rival dodge yours, with the full clip chain either way.
- Tractor Beam finally shows its cost: the beam card wears a small amber ≤50 tag while it caps your jumps, until you cut it loose.
- A cleaner table: refined settings and journal icons, mascots retired, and card labels can auto-hide once you know the deck.
- New Round now asks before discarding a race in progress, and scry peeks can no longer misfire a draw.
- Fixes: video takeovers show a clean still in Low Power Mode, and a card no longer sticks mid-air after a low-battery suspend.
