Message Maverick is a texting-skills practice app. Choose an AI conversation partner from a small set of fictional profiles, bring your own AI provider API key (Anthropic Claude or xAI Grok), and practice handling real-feeling text-message exchanges. WHAT IT DOES • Lets you select from fictional female profiles, each with a distinct personality. • Sends your typed messages to your configured AI provider for the partner's reply. • Surfaces an in-app feedback layer that scores message quality (tone, timing, conversation flow). • Tracks your conversation history locally on the device for the session. BRING YOUR OWN KEY Message Maverick does not ship with a built-in AI API key. You sign up directly with Anthropic (claude.ai) or xAI (x.ai) for your own key. Your messages travel directly from this device to that provider's servers; Message Maverick never sees them. WHAT IT IS NOT • Not a dating app. No real users. No matching. No messaging real strangers. • Not an escort or hookup app. No transactions of any kind. • Not a vehicle for in-app purchases. The only cost is whatever your AI provider charges per API call, billed by them, not by us. • Not a substitute for therapy, communication coaching, or social interaction. FREE, AD-SUPPORTED Message Maverick is free and supported by a single small banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Ads are non-personalized — we don't track you across apps and there's no tracking prompt. PRIVACY No accounts. No analytics from us. The only data stored on the device is your preferred AI provider and last-used model, and your API key is held in memory only during a session.
