Offline reading and listening Omphalis now works without a connection. Recent articles and transcripts from your Library and Inbox sync on their own, so they are there when the signal is not, and anything you download explicitly stays until you remove it. Download articles, podcasts and videos from any Library card, Inbox row, or the reader. Media downloads stay opt-in: off, on Wi-Fi, or always, under Settings, Downloads. Highlights and notes you make offline are kept and sent when you reconnect. A Downloaded filter in Library, answered from your device rather than the network. Storage used, per-item removal, and clear all, under Settings, Downloads. Highlight what you hear Podcast and video transcripts can now be marked up. Long-press a line to start, tap further lines to extend the selection, then pick a colour. A highlight made on your phone shows up on the web, and the ones you made on the web show up here. Downloads that tell you the truth Real progress instead of a spinner that guesses. Interrupted downloads resume where they stopped rather than starting over. A download that only half finished says so, instead of showing a tick. Progress follows an item across every screen it appears on. Playback fixes Downloaded podcasts and videos now play from the file on your device, including with no connection. Podcasts that have no transcript keep a working play control. Fixed downloaded videos that reported finished and then refused to open. Clearer cards Library and Inbox rows now name what each item is, whether an article, podcast, video or PDF, and where it came from. Opening one no longer means guessing whether you are in for two minutes or forty pages.
