The stock camera favors a slow shutter and blends several frames for a "clean" look. On a moving subject that means motion blur. ApexShot does the opposite: it locks a fast shutter and keeps the real single frame, so the moment is frozen instead of smeared.

A note on results: a fast shutter needs light. In very dim scenes ApexShot keeps the action sharp and lets the image go a little darker or noisier, because motion blur can't be recovered but brightness can. For daylight, sports halls and most real-world action, it gets you keepers the stock camera would miss.
