The always-on agent computer. Plug it in, tap to pair, deploy agents from your desk in minutes.
Otto is the control surface for your AI agents.
Your agent runs on your own Otto device, not on rented cloud servers. The app is how you talk to it, see what it's doing, approve what matters, and stay in control of everything running on your behalf from anywhere.
CHAT WITH FULL VISIBILITY
Work with your agent in a conversation built for real tasks. Follow its reasoning as it works, see every tool call before it happens, and get a push notification the moment it needs a decision from you. Your agent asks before doing anything consequential. You approve or decline, and it picks up where it left off.
SEE EVERYTHING IT DOES
Live activity for running and completed tasks, agent logs, file browsing, and a remote shell when you want to get hands-on. Nothing happens off-screen.
ONE-TAP CONNECTIONS
Passkey links your agent to the services you already use. The app handles the sign-in flow on your phone, so your agent never has to juggle tokens or config files.
SPEND UNDER CONTROL
Gateway shows exactly what is being spent, by agent, by model, over time. Set per-agent limits and usage caps, and switch between cloud and on-device models.
RUN A FLEET
Manage multiple agents across multiple Otto devices from one place. Give each one its own identity, email, and phone number, and check in on any of them at any time.
SET UP BY TAPPING
Hold your phone to a new Otto to pair it over the local network. Wi-Fi setup, software updates, and device settings all live in the app.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
When you are away from home, the app reaches your device through Otto's encrypted relay. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, so there are no ports to forward, no VPN to configure, and nothing readable in between. Sign in with a passkey or with Apple.
REQUIRES AN OTTO DEVICE
Otto is the companion app for Otto hardware running Otto OS. An Otto device is required to set up and run an agent. Learn more at myotto.ai.
If you want privacy (vs muse) , simplicity (vs running openclaw on your hardware) and an always-on 24/7 background agent running from your home network with zero command-line maintenance, mobile push observability, and high resistance to cloud VM web blocks.. this is it. It is a startup and we just got the first batch but problems are minimal so far, app is updated fast and the founders are very responsive. Exciting times.

I’ve watched this product develop over several months, and the product being sold today is substantially different from what was originally advertised.Otto was initially presented as a roughly $499 Mac mini competitor capable of local AI inference. That proposition disappeared. More powerful hardware configurations were subsequently advertised, while the current Otto One is a low-powered NUC-style system that primarily runs the agent software while model inference is handled through cloud APIs.The current product appears to be largely a managed interface and routing layer around OpenClaw and external AI providers. Customers are being asked to pay a substantial premium for the hardware while still relying on paid cloud inference and Otto’s software infrastructure. For what the system currently does, I don’t see the value proposition. Much of the underlying functionality can already be assembled using open-source software, inexpensive hardware or a VPS, and existing AI services. As these tools continue improving, I expect even more of this functionality to become readily available without purchasing a proprietary hardware appliance. The concept is interesting, but the product I see today is very different from the local-inference hardware originally advertised, and I don’t think the current offering justifies its cost.
Really impressed with ease of use and quick access to multiple LLMs

I own and operate an accounting firm and Otto has helped me simplify and streamline multiple business processes. I am non technical and it has allowed me to set up agents quickly and easily. I am looking to have my entire team use Otto as well. Would recommend.
Excited to start building
