Your workouts earn packs. Packs hold legends.
IronPack is a gym tracker with a trading-card game built on top.
Log your sets like you would in any real tracker - then spend what your training earns ripping open card packs: Greek Gods, Strongman Pioneers, Apex Predators, and emblems only the iron can unlock. Earn your way to the top.
WHY I BUILT THIS
I was sick of games that were addictive but got me nowhere - hours gone, nothing to show for it. So I built the opposite: a game where the more you play, the stronger you get in real life. Every card is earned under real training. That's how IronPack was born.
A REAL TRACKER UNDERNEATH
• Fast mid-workout logging: supersets, rest timer, warm-up and plate math, per-machine setup notes
• 300+ exercises with smart search, plus step-by-step demos for every lift
• Personal records tracked automatically at every rep count
• Strength standards from beginner to elite on the big lifts
• A weekly muscle heatmap you can tap into - see exactly which sets built each area
• 12-week trend charts, and CSV import from your old app
THE COLLECTION
• Earn pack points from workouts, PRs and quests - never buy them
• Rip packs open with a swipe (the tear is worth it)
• Numbered binders, foil parallels, prismatic chases, set-completion bonuses
• The Forge: craft the final cards of a set outright, at grail prices
• Every single card is earnable free.
FRIENDS MAKE IT DANGEROUS
• Add friends by QR code or invite link
• Per-exercise leaderboards: est. 1RM, heaviest set, biggest volume set
• Pound-for-pound (DOTS) so lightweights compete fairly
• Weekly Leagues: climb the tiers, earn better rewards, hold your rank or drop
• You and your friend both get a bonus pack when they join
THE ROAD AHEAD
• More packs, more leagues, more reasons to train.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• Works fully offline, no account needed
• Optional free account backs everything up and unlocks social
• Export anytime; erase or delete your account in-app
Training is the game. The stronger you get, the more you collect.
IRONPACK PRO (optional)
Pro unlocks every trend chart, unlimited custom routines, and more. Monthly or annual plans with a 14-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.

more IMPROVEMENTS:
- Bug fixes around some workouts not getting posted to the feed.
- Weekly podium finishes reach your circle's feed again - first place was the one most likely to go missing.
- There was a difference in the finished workout screen and the xp you got paid - aligned these to match.
NEW
- Thank you to all of those Pro subscribers who have backed IronPack early. You can now wear a Founder mark beside your name, on every board and the league.
1.5.8 1d ago
The Forge is finally worth using.
- Forge prices cut across every rarity. A legendary drops from 5,000 forge points to 1,800, an epic from 2,500 to 1,250. Finishing a binder the deliberate way is now a real choice instead of a last resort.
- Tap anyone on the league board to see their card - crest, level, sessions trained, and how long they have been at it. Friends see the full profile.
- Finish a collection you earned through training and you get the full ceremony: every card you claimed, a forge-point payout, and a crest that now wears its own ember ring - a finish that can only be trained for, never pulled or bought.
- Fixed: the finish-workout screen overstated the XP for short sessions. A one-set session always earned 10 XP and wrongly said 50. Your level was never affected - only that line was.
1.5.7 3d ago
Minor Improvements:
- League XP now counts every day you beat a record on the same lift, up to three days a lift per week (where previously it only paid xp once a week).
- IronPack follows your iPhone's text size. Turn it up in Settings and the app comes with you.
- Collection shelves are now more readable with the set taglines clearer.
- The trainer cards what do they mean page is more detailed now listing every exercise they boost, rather than summary.
- Two new exercises: BOSU Ball Squat and BOSU Ball Pistol Squat.
1.5.6 4d ago
Your whole last session, on the workout screen.
- Tap "Last time" on any exercise to see every set you did last time, not just the one you are on. Ramped 20, 25, then 30 last week? Now you can see that and start where you finished.
- League rewards are up, a lot. Finishing off the podium now pays 30 forge points in Bronze, rising to 105 in Diamond, and the board tells you what your finish is worth before the week ends.
- Diamond pays a League Pack to everyone who trained, on top of the forge points.
- Gold, silver and bronze on the league board is better displayed, so the leaders stand out all week.
- New card: First Push-Up, in Body Mastery. Log one to claim it.
1.5.5 Sep 15
Your targets now come from your last session.
IMPROVED
- "Last time" and your next-set target were reading your first session on a lift instead of your most recent. If a suggested weight ever looked oddly light, that was why.
- Bodyweight and timed work target suggestions updated to be more relevant. Push-ups show as reps rather than "0 kg", planks and cardio show what you managed last time, and the target chases one more rep instead of asking you to add plates.
- The feed says whether a legendary was holo, gold or prismatic.
NEW FOR PRO
- Build my session generator: the friends' records you are closest to beating, the ones they are closing in on, and the muscles you are light on this week's heatmap. Tap to add them to your workout, from the Train tab or the Social boards.
1.5.4 Sep 10
The gods are here.
OLYMPUS I: THE GODS OF THE MOUNTAIN
- 72 new cards to collect, from Zeus and Athena down to gods you have never heard of.
- Every card tells you who they were and what they were actually known for. No filler.
- A new Olympus pack on the shelf, and Olympus cards turn up in the standard Iron Pack too.
- 19 of them can be worn as your session trainer for bonus XP.
NEW & IMPROVED
- AMRAP records now pay. Beat your best set on push-ups, planks, burpees, pistol squats or any of 55 bodyweight lifts and you earn the XP and forge points, the same as any lift.
- League and XP sync the moment you finish a workout, instead of waiting until you next open the app.
- Better exercise picker and search. Your own lifts come first, machines are named properly so records compare like for like, and Dumbbell Deadlift has been added.
- Fairer league scoring. A workout counts for what you actually did (reducing payouts for less than 5 set workouts), and up to three workouts a day count toward the league.

ALSO NEW
- Better crest badges for completing pack collections.
- Your recent exercises now come first in the exercise search.
- Machines are named with more detail. Plate-loaded and stack machines are separate entries now, so your records compare like for like.
- Saved routines: pick a folder from the list instead of retyping it, and delete the one you created by mistake.
- Friends Packs no longer stop at ten. Every new training partner pays a pack, no limit.
IMPROVED
- Finished workouts now reach the friends feed even when the gym wifi drops out.
- You get a summary of end-of-week league result rather than just the place you finished.
- Deleting a workout or exercise, clears records and xp more reliably so you can keep your records and leagues are clean.

Thanks for telling us what needed fixing. Minor fixes:
- Deleted sets and records now stay deleted.
- Workouts and completed sets now post to your feed reliably, even on patchy signal.
- "Add more to this session" takes you back into your workout.
- Clearer wording on the "In the zone" quest.
- Fixed the Machine Row photo, and added a Machine Lat Pulldown.
Meanwhile we get closer to that legendary new collection.
Another hint:
Twelve thrones on one mountain,
above the clouds where no mortal climbs.
Where are we?
The gods are coming…
1.4.4 Aug 29
Minor updates:
- Improved how routines are created.
- A few improvements to wording to make things clearer in quests.
- Added single calf raise leg press machine.
Meanwhile we get closer to a legendary new collection, coming soon in a future update, here's a hint as to what it might be:
I rule the sky,
my brother rules the sea,
and another waits below.
Who are we?
The gods are coming…
1.4.3 Aug 26
Tap a friend's name to see who you're actually up against - and every exercise now shows you how to do it.
TAP A NAME, SEE THE LIFTER
• Tap any friend's name - in your friends list, on a leaderboard, or in the feed - and their card opens: their league and level, crests earned, member-since date, sessions trained, current streak, when they last trained, and their three best lifts.
• The card also settles it: how you two compare head to head across every lift you have both logged.
• Tap "View my card" in Friends to see your own, exactly as your circle sees it.
• Best lifts are ranked by DOTS, which compares strength fairly across bodyweights. Your body weight itself is never shared, with anyone.
• Friends only. Nobody outside your circle can open your card.
• Boards now open with where you actually stand: how many you lead, out of how many, and how many lifters are in your circle.
• Lifts you have never logged are now marked as not entered, instead of looking like boards you are losing. One set puts you on them.
EVERY EXERCISE NOW SHOWS YOU HOW
• All 315 exercises have step-by-step instructions - machines, iso-lateral rigs, bands, TRX, kettlebells and the calisthenics holds included. Until now, 129 of them showed only the two short cues meant for someone already mid-set.
• New exercise: Oblique Heel Touches. Tracked as a personal record and deliberately kept off the shared leaderboards.
IMPROVEMENTS
• The muscle heatmap has no adductors group, so hip adduction was counting as a full glute set - the one muscle it doesn't train. It now counts as half hamstrings and half glutes: still a stand-in, but a much closer one. Hip abduction genuinely is glutes, and is unchanged.
• Improvements to trainers around what lifts they count.
Go and claim the boards your mates think are theirs.
1.4.2 Aug 19
Minor bug fixes and improvements to social feed and workouts.
1.4.1 Aug 15
Friends and leagues get their own tab, and the Train tab is a much easier read.
SOCIAL IS NOW A TAB
• Friends, the weekly league, shared leaderboards and your feed are one tap away, instead of hidden behind a small button in the corner.
• Haven't signed up? The tab now shows you what an account actually gets you before it asks you for anything.
• New reward: create a free account and a 5-card Welcome Pack lands on your Packs tab, at double foil odds.
• You can now withdraw a friend request you've sent. Tapped the wrong name, or they never answered? One tap clears it.
A TIDIER TRAIN TAB
• Your weekly rewards, your streak and your calendar are now one card at the top, instead of three boxes spread down the page. The calendar opens with a tap when you want it.
• The rewards ladder spells out what each workout this week is worth: your first pays 10 forge points, your sixth pays 60 and banks a 5-card pack.
• Your programs and saved routines now sit above quests, so starting a session is the first thing in reach.
• Quests moved onto the Train tab - same quests, less scrolling to get through them.
• Any past session can now be saved as a routine, straight from History.
FIXED
• Beaten-record alerts on rep-based boards now read in reps, and every alert shows your own units instead of always saying kg.
• With no connection, Social said "Loading…" or looked empty. Now it tells you are offline, and offers to try again.
Happy lifting!
1.4.0 Aug 13
A number on the app icon
• The app icon now shows how many alerts are waiting: a friend request, a beaten record, your weekly league result - so you know before you open the app.
• Reading them clears it. No stale count left behind.
Plus improvements under the hood to help us catch and fix problems faster.
1.3.10 Aug 10
Boards that point at someone you can actually catch, a search that answers back, and an easier time finding your friends.
LEADERBOARDS - CHASE THE PERSON ABOVE YOU
• Every board now shows the lifter directly above you and their position - not the best in your circle. One very strong friend used to mean staring at a number you couldn't touch on every single row. Now you're chasing the next rung up.
• First place wears a crown, whoever holds it.
• Tap any board for the full picture.
• Push-up and plank boards, and the pound-for-pound view, all work this way too.
SEARCH - RECOMMENDATIONS & REQUEST EXERCISES
• Search now offers the closest matches to what you are looking for.
• Genuinely missing an exercise? You can now request exercises to be added and a notification comes straight to me to review it.
EASIER TO FIND FRIENDS
• New accounts can be found by username by friends of friends, so "People you may know" finally has people in it. Only your username (never your lifts, never your body weight), and it's a switch in Friends you can flip any time.
• Already have an account? Nothing changed for you. You'll be asked once if you want to turn discoverability on or not.
• The "Add a friend" card on the Packs tab can be dismissed. If you've got your crew, it stops asking.
Happy lifting!
1.3.9 Aug 9
The biggest accuracy pass IronPack has had. Records, leaderboards, the heatmap and CSV import all audited line by line.
RECORDS NOW MEAN ONE THING
• A record is a set that beat a mark you already held. One bench PB used to count as eight, so a first workout could claim dozens. Now the number is the number of times you actually got stronger.
• A first session on a lift says "baselines set" - you put marks on the board, you didn't beat anything yet.
• Forge points follows the same rule: 40 per record, 60 for finishing a workout, 10 per lift you baseline. Same generosity, spread more fairly - and it rewards showing up consitently, not just PB days.
LEADERBOARDS YOU CAN TRUST
• Push-ups, crunches, sit-ups and bodyweight squats now compete on REPS. Nobody loads a crunch, so the old board just ranked bodyweight - the heaviest lifter won.
• Planks, L-sits and every hold show as time, not weight.
• Machines and cables are off the shared boards - standing calf raise, the whole Hammer Strength family, and Inverted Row. Brands and bar heights differ, so those numbers were never comparable.
A FEED WORTH OPENING
• Friends' workouts show total volume and which exercises they did - tap to expand. No weights; that stays yours.
• Clear your alerts any time. Your recap history is untouched.
• See the final league table when the week resets, so you know whether you missed promotion by 40 XP or 400.
IMPORT THAT ASKS INSTEAD OF GUESSING
• Coming from Hevy or Strong? Review anything ambiguous before it lands: map it to the right lift, keep it as its own exercise, or leave it out.
• Say whether your dumbbell weights are per bell or both combined - the apps differ, and so do their users.
• Much better matching: holds and carries now import, dips find the right dip, cardio arrives as cardio, and a dumbbell press can't land on the barbell lift.
ELEVEN NEW LIFTS
Angled, horizontal and vertical leg press · barbell, Smith and donkey calf raise · dumbbell standing calf raise · single-leg hamstring curl · dumbbell upright row · leaning cable lateral raise · Smith incline press · safety bar squat · machine shrug · triceps pushdown machine.
SHARPER EVERYWHERE ELSE
• The plate helper now knows EZ, trap and safety bars - it previously assumed 20 kg for everything, which on a preacher curl was a third of the load out. Iso-lateral machines were showing half the plates you needed.
• The heatmap credits shoulders properly: side delts and traps on overhead work, front delts on dumbbell pressing.
• Bodyweight volume records now use your weight at the time, and a past month's records no longer shrink as you get stronger.
Happy competing!
1.3.8 Aug 6
NEW, free for everyone
• Your week: every Monday, the week just finished: sessions, sets, records, and the one thing worth changing next week.
• Your Month of Iron: a monthly recap card you can share. Your heaviest lift, the records you set, and the records you took off your mates.
• Standing Dumbbell Shoulder Press joins the exercise library.
NEW in IronPack Pro
• What's stalled: the lifts that have stopped moving, and the specific change to make: add weight, chase a rep, or back off and vary.
• 8-week volume review: which muscles you've been under-training, week by week, and how many sets to add.
• Muscle detail: sets, volume and frequency over 12 weeks, with your growth zone drawn right on the chart.
• Rate of progress: how fast each lift is actually moving, in kg per month.
• DOTS: bodyweight-adjusted strength, so you can tell real progress from simply getting heavier.
• Better charts: a properly labelled scale, tap any point for its exact value and date, and the days you set a record marked on the line.
• Regional focus now spots an under-trained area properly, and names the exercises that fix it - long head, upper pec and the rest.
IMPROVEMENTS
• Dumbbell lifts now say Total weight on the input, with the per-hand breakdown underneath - no more guessing whether to enter one bell or both. Hammer curl and 13 other lifts were missing this.
• Tapping the Friends Pack offer takes you straight to Friends.
• And some minor refinements across the app.
Happy lifting!
