Unspoken Room is ready on first launch with an included Qwen3 4B GGUF language model, on-device Parakeet speech recognition, and natural Kokoro voices. No account, subscription, separate model runner, or cloud AI service is required.
Use your voice or the text box for a conversation. Responses appear continuously as they are generated so you can read along while the app speaks.

CHOOSE YOUR MODEL
The included model works offline. The Likely Compatible tab shows only exact model files tested with this Unspoken Room build and allowed by the Mac's memory preflight. A separate Hugging Face search inspects eligible GGUF headers, puts likely compatible files first, and clearly distinguishes unsupported or unverified files. Advanced users can download a model into Unspoken Room's own library or import a GGUF from any directory or mounted drive. Search and download are the only optional features that contact Hugging Face.
Unspoken Room is a standalone app for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later.
Local language models can be inaccurate or produce unexpected content. Verify important information and review the source and license of any model you add.

The Model Library now separates exact, build-tested downloads from Hugging Face results classified as likely compatible, unsupported, or unverified. Architecture, access, file form, and memory checks control labels and download availability. The default local voice is now Nicole at 1.25x speed.
