No account, no subscription, no feed. Everything stays on your device, fully offline. And a soft cap of five intentions a day — because twenty priorities are none.
You wake up and there are already twenty tabs open in your head. You reach for your phone, and the day decides for you.
Onava is what you already do in the morning, plus a minute to decide the day. Coffee, a run, a stretch, your journal — or two quiet minutes. Your morning first, and only then do you write down what today is for.
Something important, something urgent, and something you have been putting off for three weeks. By evening it is unclear where the day went.
Not a wish list. A decision.
YOUR MORNING, AND THE DAY MAKES SENSE
The order here is not decorative. It is the whole point.
First the anchor: whatever your morning already starts with, app or no app. You pick it from twelve — breathing, a stretch, a cold shower, a run, a walk, coffee, your journal, reading, gratitude, affirmations, a phone-free morning, or no ritual at all. The ritual adapts: a countdown, a stopwatch, or a single Done button. Change the kind any time; your streak carries over.
Phone-free is its own case: tap, put the phone down, let the screen go dark. Affirmations are your own lines, one card at a time. And “no ritual” is for mornings when all you need is the plan.
By default it is breathing — a slow circle to breathe along with, two minutes or longer, four rhythms, and a sound that fades right into the closing chime.
Then, and only then, the intentions. One to five of them. The first becomes your main one — the "if only one thing happens today, let it be this".
A list written in chaos is a list of wishes. The same list written after your morning is a choice: you are not noting what you feel like doing, you are deciding what you will not do today.
Small things that serve this: yesterday's unfinished carries over with one tap, and any intention can take a short "when or where" — that makes it far more likely to happen.
AND THE DAY ACTUALLY HOLDS
After that it stays simple. Open Today, see your intentions, check off what is done. No repeat of the morning. Your main intention also sits in a widget — Home and Lock Screen — so you meet it before another feed.
And when the day speeds up, there's Pause: one to three minutes of breathing before a hard conversation or before sleep. It doesn't count toward your streak: a door, not another task.
In the evening, a one-line reflection: what went well, how you feel, what matters tomorrow. This is the part that is usually missing: the day gets an ending. And tomorrow's main intention is already waiting in the morning. The loop closes.
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE AFTER THREE WEEKS
Around week three, the thing that changes is not the app. It is you.
Mornings stop being the moment you have to gather yourself. You look at the heat map of recent weeks and see not "how much I failed to do", but that you are moving. That feeling is what all of this was built for.
Your streak counts completed rituals, not ticked boxes: you can always think your day through honestly, while getting everything done works for no one. And it never burns down — a missed day takes nothing away. On holiday, mark the days and reminders go quiet; on weekends they come later or not at all.
Also here: achievements at 3, 7, 30 and 100 days; weekly and monthly recaps with a shareable card.
THE YEAR THAT COMES BACK TO YOU
There's a third horizon too — year goals: a few big ones for the year. Once a month, a quiet session: gentle questions about your goals and the steps you note under each. The morning ritual then offers you one — a tap, and it joins the intentions. At year's end you see the whole path in steps — no percentages, no grades.
NOTHING EXTRA
Private by default: no accounts, no sign-up, no tracking — all stays on your device, fully offline.
No subscriptions, no paywalls. No feeds, no likes, no shame over a broken streak. The soft cap of five intentions is deliberate too: twenty priorities are none.
Nine languages, following your device.

Your morning no longer has to be breathing.
• Pick your morning. Twelve kinds of morning ritual: breathing, a stretch, a cold shower, a run, a walk, coffee, your journal, reading, gratitude, affirmations, a phone-free morning — or no ritual at all, straight to the day's plan. You choose on first launch and can change it any time in settings; your streak carries straight over.
• The ritual adapts to the kind. A countdown where time matters, a stopwatch where it doesn't, and for coffee or journaling a single Done button. Getting ready differs too: thirty seconds before a cold shower, fifteen before a stretch, three for breathing. The day's intentions, the evening reflection and everything else stay exactly as they were.
• Affirmations in your own words. Your own lines, one card at a time. There are examples to start from, but what stays is what you keep or write yourself.
• A phone-free morning. Tap, put the phone down, let the screen go dark. A chime calls you back when the time is up — and if notifications are off, the app tells you beforehand instead of staying quiet about it. In between it says nothing: here it is a timer and a promise, not a place where something happens.
• Your streak now says it in words: “Ritual: 12 days” — on screen and in the widget.
Changed nothing? Then nothing changes: your ritual stays breathing, with the same minutes, rhythm and sound.
• Five new languages. Onava now also speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish — the whole app, not just the store page. It follows your device language, and you can switch it any time in settings.
Thank you for starting your day with Onava.
