Reels you export now play cleanly everywhere, including YouTube: joined clips share one audio stream, every cut lands on a clean keyframe, and mixed-format clips are matched before joining. One overall progress bar shows the real progress of the whole merge.

VaultReel now runs beautifully on iPad — a studio layout with your reels in a sidebar and a full-width editor beside them, in any orientation. After exporting, the finished reel and the option to delete the originals now pop up front and centre - no more scrolling to find them. Close the panel with the X when you are done.

Scanning big libraries is now much friendlier: a real progress bar shows exactly how many videos have been checked, and after the first scan the app remembers its work — so from then on it opens straight to your reels.

A cleaner, calmer editor: the reel name and clip details now sit on their own lines so long names always stay readable, the playhead time is a simple clear readout, and the timeline is simpler and smoother to scrub.

Timeline polish: audio bars now line up exactly with their clips at every zoom level, background music rides its own track and mixes with clip sound, a cleaner video-only mode, and smoother, more reliable scrubbing.

Add music straight from Files — songs and even other videos can be used as a soundtrack. Trim, split, move and shape their volume right on the timeline. Sharper, instant timeline thumbnails that no longer flicker while you scroll or zoom. A live playhead in the volume editor so you can see exactly what you're hearing.
