Version 2.1 refines everyday reading. NEW • Chapter names in English: when English is your reading language, each chapter now shows its Sanskrit name in Roman script with its meaning, for example "Arjuna Vishada Yoga — Arjuna's Dilemma". In Hindi, chapter names remain in Devanagari. • Text size: make the verses and their translations smaller or larger in Settings, with a live preview. • Copy verse: touch and hold any verse to copy the Sanskrit, the translation and the verse number as text. • Gentle haptics: a soft tap when you bookmark or copy a verse, switch language, or finish a chapter. It can be turned off in Settings. • Report a bug or request a feature: a new Support section in Settings opens an email to the developer with the app version already filled in. Version 2.0 is the biggest update yet: a refreshed design, and an app that speaks your language. NEW • Hindi or English, throughout: choose your reading language when you first open the app, or anytime in Settings. Buttons, labels, chapter names and summaries all follow it — as do the translations and the Verse of the Day widget. • A gentle welcome: first-time readers are greeted with a short introduction and asked which language they would like to read in. • Liquid Glass design: buttons and controls are redesigned for iOS 27, while the verses stay on warm, easy-to-read paper. • Calm, subtle animations throughout — the progress line fills as you open the app, bookmarks respond when saved, and cards settle softly as you scroll. They turn off automatically if Reduce Motion is on. Version 1.2 helps you find your way through the Gita, and brings a careful review of the text. NEW • Search: type a verse number such as 2.47 to go straight to it, or search any word in the Hindi, English or Sanskrit text. Matching words are highlighted, and search works fully offline. • Chapter summaries: every chapter now opens with a short introduction in your reading language, so you can see where the teaching is heading before the first verse. Tap "Read more" to see it in full. IMPROVED TEXT • All 18 chapter introductions were proofread line by line and checked against the verses themselves; the Hindi introductions were rewritten to be accurate and consistent. • Verse 13.1 now has its Hindi translation, and verse 18.2 shows the correct Hindi text. • Where Swami Ramsukhdas translates two or three verses together, the shared translation is now labelled clearly with the verses it covers. • Eleven verses where the speaker's name ran into the verse (for example "अर्जुन उवाच") now show it on its own line. • Chapter 15's longer verses now appear in their proper four lines. • A number of small spelling, punctuation and spacing corrections in the Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
