Kin: Family Conversations
Talk better with your people
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Sit together. Flip the phone for Table Mode. Give each person uninterrupted time. Science-grounded prompts for couples, kids, and family — all on your device.
Kin helps couples and families have calmer, more meaningful conversations — a deep library of guided prompts, a face-to-face Table Mode, and a speak timer, on one phone.
ONE PHONE. FACE TO FACE.
Put the phone between you. Table Mode flips the prompt for the person across the table, tracks whose turn it is, and keeps the conversation moving.
EVERYONE GETS HEARD
A speak timer gives each person uninterrupted airtime. Record on-device voice notes and get short on-device summaries (Apple Intelligence, where available). No account required.
A GUIDE THAT READS THE ROOM
On-device intelligence turns who's here and your recent chats into gentle, practical setup tips — generated on your iPhone, never in the cloud.
WHO'S HERE
Tap everyone in the room. Answers, speak turns, and notes stay tagged to the right people — partners, kids, teens, parents, or close friends.
PLAYFUL AI PORTRAITS
Snap a photo and get a warm, playful portrait for each person's profile — created on device with Image Playground.
PROMPTS GROUNDED IN RELATIONSHIP SCIENCE
Eight packs — warmth, gratitude, stories, feelings, repair, rituals, play, and teen autonomy — each built on established psychology cues like emotion coaching, family narrative, conflict repair, and autonomy support. Add unlimited custom prompts with Kin Pro.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
People, photos, notes, and progress stay on this device. No cloud, no feed, no social graph. Delete local data anytime in Settings.
KIN PRO
An optional subscription unlocks every question pack and unlimited custom prompts.
Kin is a conversation aid — not therapy, diagnosis, or medical care.
