A gift journal for Japanese gift-giving traditions.
Musubicho helps you keep track of gifts received, gifts given and plans for the people in your life. It is designed around gift-giving occasions in Japan, including wedding and baby gifts, thank-you gifts, birthdays and seasonal gifts.
The app interface is available in Japanese and English. Amounts in JPY.

Record the person, item, occasion, date, amount, notes and a photo. Look back through your history when planning the next gift.
PLAN A THOUGHTFUL THANK-YOU
A received gift creates a return-gift card. Keep your ideas together and record the gift you eventually give. You can also record your decision not to give a return gift.
KEEP THE PERSON IN MIND
Save birthdays, preferences and things to avoid. Organize upcoming gifts, candidates, budgets and dates.
PREPARE A PROMPT FOR AN AI CONVERSATION
Choose which details to include in a Japanese or English prompt, copy it and open ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude. You paste and send it yourself. The app does not automatically send your personal records to an AI service.
YOUR RECORDS
Structured records are saved on your device and in your private iCloud database. Attached photos stay on the device.

Pro Monthly and Pro Lifetime remove ads and provide unlimited consultation prompts. All plans include unlimited gift records.
Monthly plans renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. The lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically.
