Now in five languages, and two more places to sell. SnapWorth speaks Romanian, Spanish, German and Simplified Chinese — the whole app, not just the menus. The camera, the result screen, My Finds, the profit ledger and every widget. It follows your phone's language on its own; you can also set it per app in Settings. Two marketplaces added: Kleinanzeigen and 闲鱼 (Xianyu). Pick either for a listing draft and it comes back written in German or Chinese, the way a seller there writes it, with that marketplace's fees in the profit maths — neither charges a private seller commission. Estimates stay in US dollars wherever you are. That's what the valuation is, and a converted figure would only be a guess.

Two fixes to the widgets, both reported from a subscriber's Home Screen. "Scans left" now says what it means for Pro. It used to give its headline to your streak, so the one thing a subscriber wanted confirmed — that there is no limit — was the only thing it never said. The big line is the answer now: ∞, with the streak underneath. The Lock Screen complication matches. "Recent finds" fills its tile on the large size. It was drawing four rows at the top and leaving the bottom half of the widget blank. It now shows six, spaced down the tile with a hairline between each. The medium size is unchanged.

Widgets, and a lot of them. Your haul total on the Lock Screen — as a circle, a panel, or a single line beside the clock. Recent finds on the Home Screen: the last few things you scanned, and what each one is worth. Free scans left today, at a glance. Profit this month from the flips you've sold. And thrift runs. Start one when you walk into a shop and your running total for that trip stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while you scan — so you always know what the haul is worth before you decide on the next thing. On iOS 18 you can add Scan to Control Centre, and on iPhone 15 Pro and later put it on the Action Button — either way, straight to the camera.

Fixes throughout. Scanning a price tag with the camera now reads it reliably. Photos taken in portrait were being handed to the text recogniser sideways, so the price often didn't register. Items described as clean — "no stains, no tears" — are no longer graded as damaged. That was quietly pulling their estimated value down. The value shown on the result screen, in My Finds, on the widget and on a shared badge now always agree. After changing an item's condition, some of those kept showing the original estimate. Plus clearer subscription terms.

Fixes throughout. Out of free scans? You now go straight to the subscription screen instead of an error you can't do anything with. Moved to a new iPhone? The app now re-verifies itself automatically. Before this, restoring from a backup could leave scanning stuck until you deleted and reinstalled. Prices typed with a comma — 12,50 — now register correctly. Purchases that need approval, like Ask to Buy, now tell you they're waiting instead of appearing to do nothing. Plus a faster, lighter camera and result screen, VoiceOver labels throughout Thrift Flip, and a Privacy Policy that names every service that handles your data.

Guess before you look. Every scan now opens with the price hidden. Take a guess, tap to reveal, and see how close you were — then share it as a story: the question card first, the reveal second. Add the tag (Pro). Photograph the care label, size tag or sole stamp and SnapWorth re-reads the item with both photos. Size, fabric and style codes come off the label, so the estimate tightens. Poshmark, Mercari and Depop. Snap to Sell now writes listings for the places US resellers actually sell: Poshmark, Mercari and Depop join eBay, Facebook, Vinted and OLX. Each one is written in that marketplace's own voice, ready to paste. Thrift Flip knows their fees too — Poshmark's flat $2.95 on cheap items, Mercari's 10%, Depop's processing fee — so the buy-or-skip verdict is right for wherever you plan to sell. Keep the streak going. Scan on consecutive days and the Scan tab shows your streak. On the free plan you can also turn on a daily reminder — at the time you choose — so the day's free scan never goes unused. Off by default, and only on days you haven't scanned yet. Clearer scan errors: when a scan can't be priced, SnapWorth now tells you why — a photo the AI couldn't read, an item it couldn't value, or a hiccup on our side — so you know whether to try a different photo or try again. Also under the hood: Pro subscriptions now recognise your device across reinstalls, so deleting and reinstalling the app never affects your plan.

Your free scans, accurately counted. SnapWorth now shows exactly how many free scans you have left — the real number, straight from the app, rather than a figure it guessed at. So it's said plainly: the free plan is one scan a day, and it refreshes every day. Pro removes the limit. Also fixed a typo on the subscription screen that had been there longer than we'd like.

Fewer interruptions. When your session needed reconnecting, SnapWorth used to stop and ask you to try again — and trying again usually hit the same wall. It now reconnects on its own and gets on with your scan.

Clearer answers when a scan doesn't work. If a photo can't be read — too dark, too far away, more than one item in frame — SnapWorth now tells you what to change instead of just saying something went wrong. Behind the scenes we also fixed the cause of some inaccurate valuations. That fix is already live, so your estimates are current whether or not you update.

Your finds, as a portfolio. My Finds now opens with what everything you've scanned is worth — one number, updated as you add to it. Underneath, it tells you what still needs listing, what you've actually made on the things you've sold, and what's been sitting a while. Pro adds value history: a trend line for your whole portfolio and the change on each item since you added it. New: an optional weekly summary so you know where you stand without opening the app. Off unless you want it, and you can turn it off again in Settings.
