You can now watch an ad for 5 gems whenever you feel like it, straight from the victory screen. Ads also show up between campaign levels: never mid-battle, never in the early levels, and at most one every three.

A new Bestiary: all 19 enemies with their portrait, stats and threat level. Every creature has been redrawn and reanimated. The ones that blurred when they moved don't anymore. Two new enemies: the War Wagon, which carries troops and spills them when it falls, and the Centorc, cavalry that charges without warning. Survival, the Daily Challenge and the Sandbox now face the full horde. It hits harder, so Survival records start from zero. Your achievements are untouched.

Worlds 3 and 4 now hit with the weight they deserve. Their waves had fallen behind the rest of the campaign. Fixed 2X and 3X quietly dropping out when performance dipped, right in the busiest waves. The speed you pick is the speed you get. Resuming a saved run now keeps the speed you were playing at.

Rebuilt the difficulty curve. Starting a new world used to hand back up to 40% of the difficulty, so a lot of the campaign was easier than levels you had already beaten. Now the challenge climbs steadily from 1-1 to 5-10, with only a short breather when you reach a new world. - Easy, Normal and Hard now change the enemies themselves, not just your starting gold and lives - Elite enemies show up more often the further you get

A big update for iPhone: everything from the last several releases arrives at once. NEW - Constellation: a permanent upgrade tree funded with the stars you earn. 33 nodes that carry over into every run. - Resume mid-battle: leave a level and come back exactly where you were, down to your gold, lives, waves, towers, enemies and deployed hero. - The archer hero is now Jorwyn, with all-new art. - No-build zone: the edge of the path lights up in gold when you pick a tower, so you can see where it will and won't go. FIXED - The HUD showed placeholder gold and lives when opening a level instead of your real numbers. - Barricade upgrades were speeding ground enemies up instead of slowing them down. - Barricade descriptions now say what the upgrade actually does. - Menus and hero descriptions that were still showing English text in Spanish. - The rate button now opens the App Store. - Quieter sound mix, a longer warning before ShadowDrake dashes, and clearer wording on hero abilities that fire on their own.
