Most runs are supposed to feel easy. LockIN watches your heart rate and tells you the moment you drift, so easy days build fitness instead of quietly costing it.
Premium unlocks two studio coach voices and the monthly health report. Everything needed to train — heart-rate coaching, plans, the field test, progress — is free.
Heart rate requires an Apple Watch. On the Simulator or an iPhone without a paired watch, the run screen will wait for a heart-rate source.
There is no account system, no sign-in, and no server. Nothing in the app is gated behind an identity, so no demo credentials are needed.
HEALTHKIT
HealthKit data is never uploaded to a server — LockIN has no backend and no network path for it. Heart rate, workouts, and routes are read from and written to HealthKit on the device; training data is stored locally in SwiftData. No HealthKit data is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising. The app's one third-party SDK is Sentry, for crash reporting, and it never receives HealthKit data: sendDefaultPii, attachScreenshot and attachViewHierarchy are disabled and tracing is zero, because a crash screenshot of the run screen would itself be heart-rate data.
PERMISSIONS
The Health and Apple Music screens explain why access is wanted and then always present the system permission sheet. Declining is available on Apple's own sheet; onboarding completes either way.
