Your books, on a real shelf The library is a wooden bookcase now: four woods to choose from, warm light under every board, and covers standing on the wood. Bookmarks, highlights and notes Save a page and come back to it. Highlight what matters in eight colors, or any color you pick, and write a note on it. One reading menu for every format EPUBs, PDFs and comics share the same settings now, each showing only what it can do. EPUBs can scroll, and PDFs and comics get sepia. A shelf on your Home Screen The new widget shows your latest covers. Tap one and it opens. Four sizes, up to twelve books on iPad. Pay once instead Premium now offers Lifetime: a single payment, no subscription, nothing to renew. Free covers one blocked app and one book of your own, both forever.

A new look The gold from the app icon is now the accent everywhere, over true black, with a thin line tracing the edge of the screen. Habit The month calendar comes first, with your reading streak inside it and the whole year below. "How you read" — your pace, your best hours, your best day — is no longer Premium. Everyone gets it. Setup Blocking, your daily goal and permissions used to be three separate screens. Now they are one. Books The library tab is now called Books, with a cleaner split between the free classics and your own shelf. Today Pick the layout you prefer in Settings: a reading list, or a shelf of covers you swipe through. When it's empty you get a line about reading instead of a blank screen — a different one each time, and one a day in the large widget.

• A more personal onboarding: your plan is now built around the time you want back, with a clear first-month roadmap. • The library loads instantly and works fully offline — book covers now ship with the app. • A faster, smoother first launch. • Fixed: importing an EPUB from Files or Mail now respects your subscription. • Small fixes and polish.
