Hoodwink brings the strategy and character of the classic New Zealand pub-table game to iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Move your pawns along the board’s legal paths, capture your opponent’s pieces, plan multiple jumps, and stay one move ahead. The rules are easy to understand, but every match creates new tactical decisions, traps, and opportunities. Whether you want a quick solo match, a competitive battle with another player, or a larger strategic challenge, Hoodwink gives you multiple ways to play. MULTIPLE GAME MODES Choose the style of match that suits you: • Player vs Player • Player vs Bot • Bot vs Bot • Online multiplayer through Game Center • Competitive Game Center leaderboards Challenge another player on the same device, sharpen your strategy against the bot, or watch two computer-controlled opponents battle and learn from the decisions they make. Take your skills online through Game Center, compete against other players, earn your place on the leaderboards, and see how your strategy compares with the rest of the Hoodwink community. DAILY PUZZLES Return each day for a new Hoodwink puzzle designed to test your ability to read the board and find the winning sequence. Each daily puzzle gives you a specific board position and a limited number of moves to complete the challenge. Study every available path, plan your captures carefully, and work out the correct sequence before your moves run out. Some puzzles may be solved quickly. Others will require you to think several moves ahead, recognise hidden opportunities, and avoid traps that initially appear to be the right choice. Daily puzzles provide a fresh challenge outside normal matches and are a great way to improve your strategy, practise advanced moves, and master the deeper mechanics of Hoodwink. SPECIAL EVENT BOARDS Play across a growing collection of themed boards created for holidays, seasons, countries, and special events. Each board gives Hoodwink a completely different visual atmosphere while preserving the legal paths and strategic gameplay at the centre of every match. CUSTOM PAWN SKINS Personalise your matches with a growing collection of custom pawn designs. Represent your country with national flag pawn skins, or change the look of the game with limited and special event designs. Mix your favourite pawn skins with different boards to create a match that feels completely your own. THE SUPER BOARD For players looking for a bigger challenge, the Super Board expands Hoodwink into a massive strategic battlefield. The Super Board combines four boards into one larger playing area, introducing more paths, more possible moves, longer strategies, and more opportunities to trap or outmanoeuvre your opponent. With a much larger battlefield to control, every decision becomes more important. Plan several moves ahead, protect your position, and prepare for matches that can change direction at any moment. EASY TO LEARN, DIFFICULT TO MASTER Hoodwink rewards planning, patience, observation, and calculated risk.
