Trio unlocks faster with Face ID now, no more waiting on the lock screen. Plus a small fix so quiet-area text in Discover no longer gets cut short on smaller screens.

Group chat feels like a real messenger now: messages from one person read as one run, the day shows when it changes, and a new message never yanks you down. React with one of six emoji, copy a line, or take back one of yours. See who has read your message and when someone is typing. A new group opens with the other people's prompts and three questions to start with. Creators get a home for their hangouts: see every one you started, share it, edit the details, or close it when plans change. Groups now say what's new. Vote on the plan, check in, or catch up on new messages, right from the list. Mute a group when you need quiet. See who's in a hangout before you join, and tap anyone in your group to see their profile. Profiles show more of you: up to four photos, two prompts, and what you're looking to do. Skip a hangout in Discover and it stays skipped. Find your area by typing any city in the USA or Canada. Plus fixes: starting a hangout right after you sign in works again, opening Trio without a connection no longer looks like you were signed out, a heads-up before we ask about notifications, Past Trios opens the right group, searching for a place is faster, and crash reporting so we can fix problems faster.

Share a plan or a recap and it now carries a link to get Trio. Sign-in polish: the email code is 8 digits and the screen now says so, and a typo in your address gets a nudge.
