Meet the Cominly channel: official updates from the Cominly team, in the app. New Help guide. Search a question, read the answer, and tap Take me there to jump straight to the right screen. Links now open inside the app, so you are one tap from getting back. Scan a community's QR code before installing Cominly and you still land in that community after you sign up. Safer by default: profile and community photos are checked before they appear, and links to known scam or malware sites are blocked. Fixes: a "No connection" banner that showed after the app sat idle, and screens that left you stranded after certain taps.

Sign in with Apple or Google, alongside email and phone. Communities can now ask for a verified email, phone number or street before someone joins, and show their house rules so new members know what they are agreeing to. Admins can hold posts and listings for review before they appear. Direct messages moved to the header. New events and polls show up in the feed, and people who never answered an RSVP get a reminder. Fixes: joining with an invite code, staying signed in between sessions, conversations you could not leave, a double tap that paid twice, and savings circle draws that did not finish.

Reply to comments Conversations under a post now nest three levels deep, so you can answer a particular person and still follow who said what. Long threads fold away when you're done with them. Reactions and replies everywhere React to a message, or reply to a specific one, in group chats and direct messages. Group chats can now carry photos too. Messages moved to the top Direct messages now live behind the envelope in the header, so a new one is visible from any screen rather than only from the bottom bar. Bookings for the whole community A community can take bookings in its own name, not only through individual members, and sub-groups can run their own calendars. Providers can also write in a booking taken over the phone. Find Help, grouped by service Browse by what people offer rather than scrolling one long list. Joining a community When an admin asks a question about your request, you can find it again from your community list, not only from the notification. A request you have sent sits at the top of your communities. Admins can approve or decline from the conversation itself. Also in this release Notifications for a deleted post, circle or fund now say so instead of showing an error. Fixes to photo captions in notifications and replies, and spacing on several lists.

Safety alerts that look after themselves Active alerts now appear on the feed, and they expire on their own instead of standing indefinitely. See who runs what The member list shows who organizes which groups and orders people by standing, without revealing private groups. Sub-groups Appoint an organizer from the group's own members screen. The group is told who joined and who now runs it. Events and posts A recurring event collapses into a single card instead of filling the feed, and a scheduled post says when it will start showing. Resources Admins can correct a resource, and photos taken on an iPhone now upload properly. Also: a long list of fixes to photo and document uploads, bottom sheets that fought the keyboard, and clearer permissions around mutual aid funds and organizer roles.

Appointments — book time with people in your community: barbers, tutors, repairs, anyone offering a service. Providers set their own hours, services, and prices. Polls and pledges — close and reopen them, edit a goal, and choose for yourself whether a pledge shows your name. A dot on My Communities shows which ones have something new since you last looked. Invite links now open straight to the community you were invited to. Fixes: times now show in your own timezone, community chat connects reliably, RSVPs no longer error, and scheduled posts go live on time.
