New in Hookies • Your intro and outro, your way: add a clip, a photo or your logo at the start or end, with a fade to black, a fade to white or a hard cut, and let it hold for a few seconds. • Turn sound effects up, down or off, just by chat. • Lots of new effects when you ask for them: lyrics on the beat, text that writes itself, cinema bars, new transitions, likes and comments on screen. • Filmed with several phones? Hookies lines up the recordings by their sound. • The data sharing question now only appears when you upload your first video. • Fixed: a crash at the end of onboarding. Onboarding is now much smoother on older iPhones. • Lots of small improvements for speed and stability.

New: the effects gallery 200+ AI effects, all there to tap and watch. Pick one, send your photo, done. • Magic effects inside your own video: have a house grow behind you as you turn around. You see a preview image and approve it before anything gets built. • Hit the exact moment: drag the slider to where something should happen instead of guessing seconds. • Bullet time, money rain, anime transformation, everything-is-cake and 200+ more effects from a single photo. • New Studio Pass Unlimited for anyone who cuts a lot. Plus lots of small improvements: smoother scrolling, clearer answers in chat, and fewer questions before we get going.

Your cuts just got better — and you can hear it. • Sound mixer, truly live: drag a fader and hear it instantly — and zero now means silent. • Editor with your original clips: extend, trim and reorder scenes freely. • Your target length counts: ask for 20 seconds, get 20 seconds — and action moments play out instead of cutting mid-jump. • New: slow-mo & beat-synced cuts: your best moment gets automatic slow motion, cuts land on the music. • Clean voiceovers: the video stays fully silent while you record, and no music plays under your voice. • Adjust your plan directly: length slider, music and style pickers. • Upload progress you can see. • Plus many small fixes for language, credits display and stability.
