Translator apps pass one phone back and forth. Pontu connects your devices and languages into one shared conversation: everyone speaks their own language — and instantly hears the others in theirs. Over 70 languages, ready to go.
HOW IT WORKS
• Two devices: Invite the other person via link or QR code — no account, no installation. Everyone speaks into their own iPhone and hears the conversation in their own language.
• Group (Pro): Several people, several languages — everyone hears everything in their language, around one table or across the world. Leave any time, report or block participants.
• One device: Hold the iPhone between you. Press and hold, speak, release — the translation is read aloud and shown as text.
• Hands-free: Tap once and talk freely, even with the screen off — perfect in a restaurant, on the go or at the front desk.
• Read along: Every utterance also appears as a caption.

PLANS
Start for free with daily free minutes. Plans and minute top-ups are available as In-App Purchases: Everyday (60 min/month), Standard (120 min/month, monthly or yearly) and Pro (300 min/month, including group mode). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in your App Store account settings. New in version 1.2:
• Conversation texts stay on your device: read and delete any conversation under "My conversations". The texts are saved only on your device, never on our servers – and you can turn this off at any time.
• New translation modes: Conversation, Listen, Read only and Custom. In Listen mode, Pontu keeps listening to the other person – with headphones you hear the translation. In Read only mode, everything appears as text.
• Two devices and group: have the translation read aloud or just read along.
• "Restore purchases" now shows its progress and always reports the result.
