Small improvements under the hood. - We now see which screens and buttons get used, anonymously, so we can smooth out the places where people get stuck. A new welcome, and a clearer deal. - The intro now shows what the sound actually does, the research it rests on (with the papers named), and everything inside the app, before asking you anything. - Premium is explained once, up front, and you can walk past it. Quietra 1.1 is a second product's worth of new: Focus mode. - Two tabs on the home screen, Focus and Masking. Never the same track twice. - The sound now adapts to you: your room's noise, your AirPods hearing test, your pulse and sleep from Health, the time of day, even the weather outside your window. Your listening history was missing sessions. This release is the fix. If you stopped a session with the pause button on the home screen, which is how most sessions end, Quietra never wrote it down. Only sessions closed from night mode counted. Your journal and your totals have been undercounting all along, quietly and by a lot. From now on every session you finish is recorded, and pausing partway no longer loses the time you had already listened. The same bug had swallowed the one moment we ask what you think of Quietra, so that question had never actually reached anyone. It works now, and it still waits until the app has genuinely helped: three finished sessions, never over a running one. What did not change: no accounts, no ads inside the app, and we still never ask to track you across other apps and websites.
