Clarion Transcribe is a voice recorder built around one promise: it keeps recording until YOU decide to stop. Ordinary recorders can cut out at the worst moments — a Bluetooth mic drops, the audio route changes, or a stray tap ends the take. Clarion Transcribe is engineered so that doesn't happen. WON'T STOP BY ACCIDENT • Stopping requires pressing Stop three times within two seconds. A single accidental touch can't end your recording. • Bluetooth dropouts, headphone unplugging, and audio route changes never stop a recording — it automatically continues on the next available mic. • Phone-call interruptions pause and resume into the same file. • Records with the screen locked. RECORD YOUR WAY • Choose your microphone before recording — then it's locked so nothing switches it mid-take. • File formats: AAC, Apple Lossless, or WAV. • Quality presets from compact to studio-grade. ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTS • Turn recordings into text right on your device — nothing is uploaded. • Choose the Whisper engine with selectable model sizes for the accuracy you need, or Apple's on-device speech recognition. • Automatic transcription after each recording, or transcribe on demand. AI SUMMARIES — ALSO ON-DEVICE • Turn any transcript into a summary: a concise paragraph, bullet points, or a detailed write-up. • On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, summaries are written by Apple's on-device model. Nothing is sent to any server. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. • Your audio and transcripts stay on your device unless you share them. ALL-NEW DESIGN • A refreshed look drawn from our icon: deep ink blue with signal-blue and teal accents throughout. • A live waveform on the record screen that moves with your actual microphone level while you record. NAVIGATE YOUR RECORDINGS • Scrub anywhere in a recording with the new playback slider. • Skip back or ahead 10 seconds with one tap. • Transcripts are now timestamped passages — tap any passage to jump the audio straight to that moment, and follow along as the current passage highlights during playback. Tip: recordings transcribed before this update show plain text. Tap Re-transcribe on a recording to get the new tappable, timestamped transcript. As always: recording, transcription, and AI summaries all run entirely on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.
