One glance answers "is now a good time to walk?" Beyond temperature, we check pavement heat, humidity and cold from your pup's point of view, tuned to breed and age.

A sunny day at 26°C (79°F). It feels lovely to us, but in midsummer asphalt can climb past 50°C (122°F). For a dog walking barefoot, "today's weather" is a little different from the forecast we look at.
Osanpo Biyori is a weather app for dog owners: the forecast from your pup's point of view, every day. No ads. All the core features are free.
Here's what you'll see
• Walk Index: temperature, humidity, rain, wind and pavement temperature add up to one 0-100 answer to "is now a good time?" Plus an hourly index and a suggested walk time.
• Score breakdown: why today scored what it did, across seven factors.
• Pavement temperature: estimated from the sun, cloud and rain, so you know which hours may be hard on paw pads.
• Heatstroke risk: based on Japan's Ministry of the Environment heat index bands and veterinarian-supervised public sources. Flat-faced breeds, puppies and seniors are judged more cautiously.
• Rain radar: rain clouds on the map from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) nowcast (locations in Japan).
• Notifications: a walk summary, heat alerts, morning and evening walk reminders, and a heads-up when the pressure drops.
• My Dogs: personalize the index by breed (122), age and build. Multiple dogs supported; the mascot matches your breed (more illustrations on the way).
• Care calendar: heartworm medicine, vaccinations, grooming and more, with a reminder the evening before.
• Memory Map: pin your walks to the map with photos.
• Weekly: the next 7 days' Walk Index at a glance.
• Places: dog's-eye weather for a dog run or trip destination.
• My Photos background: your dog's photo behind Home, positioned by hand.
• Home Screen widget: today's Walk Index and your mascot.
• Backup: export memories and calendar data for a new phone.

Easy to trust
No ads. The core features are free, and they will stay that way.
No account, no personal data collected. Location stays on your device, and the app works even if you don't grant permission (only Premium real-time alerts use the alert location you register). Family sharing keeps your pup's data, photos and Memory Map places on our server in Japan to sync.
The sources behind every index are in the app.
The rain radar, warnings and observed temperature come from the JMA and cover Japan; everything else works anywhere.

• Coat colors (Premium): change the mascot's coat color to one close to your pup's. Home and widgets show the color you pick. Choose it from Coat color on your pup's edit screen. Family members in Family sharing can use it too.
• You can now send an illustration request from the Coat color screen. Besides coat color, we take details like short or long coat and upright or floppy ears.
