Dictantor does not upload your audio for transcription. LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG Play recordings, seek through the timeline, skip forward or back, and tap transcript sections to return to the corresponding moment in the audio. SEARCH TRANSCRIPTS Search available transcript text and open a recording at the matching passage. EXPORT AVAILABLE CONTENT Export audio or transcript files using the iOS share sheet. Export options appear only when the corresponding content is available. LOCAL BY DEFAULT - No account required - Audio and transcripts are processed locally - Recordings and transcripts are stored on your device - Core recording and transcription features work without a network connection OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE INSIGHTS On compatible devices, when Apple Intelligence is available and enabled, Dictantor can generate a summary, key takeaways, and action items from supported transcripts. When Insights is unavailable, recording, transcription, playback, search, and export remain available. Use Dictantor to save a quick thought, record a conversation, or keep a spoken note that you can return to later. Transcription and Insights availability may vary depending on the device, system settings, transcript language, speech clarity, and audio quality.
