Most tuner apps show a needle that never stops moving, so first-time guitarists can't tell when a string is actually in tune. Easy Guitar Tuner works like a measuring device instead: it listens to your pluck for a couple of seconds, averages the stable part of the sound, and tells you exactly what to do.

■ 1. One pluck, one verdict
Pluck once and the app collects the sound, discards the messy attack, and averages the stable part. You get one of five clear verdicts — "Tighten a lot", "Tighten a little", "In tune!", "Loosen a little", "Loosen a lot" — so you instantly know which way to turn the peg and how much.
■ 2. Adjust, then just pluck again
The mic keeps listening while your verdict is on screen. Turn the peg and pluck again — it re-measures automatically, no buttons. When a string is in tune, the app moves to the next string on its own, guiding you from string 6 to string 1 without breaking your flow.
■ 3. A headstock guide — no string numbers needed
The headstock diagram always shows the target note for all six strings (E·A·D·G·B·E), with plain-language hints like "Thickest string (top when you hold the guitar)". Tuned strings turn green, off strings turn red, so your progress is visible at a glance.
■ 4. See the proof on a pitch graph
While measuring, the pitch is drawn live on a graph; after the verdict, your average line is shown against the target line, with a cent-offset bar telling you exactly how far off you were.
