DRUM SCHOOL
A track of 24 lessons across 4 levels, in the order drum teachers really
use: the pulse, then the hands (rudiments: single strokes, doubles, the
paradiddle), then the grooves, then the craft. Lessons unlock as you go.
EXAMS, WITH THE METRONOME RUNNING
Every level ends with an exam. The metronome does not wait: land the notes
in time to pass. Pass one and the whole level opens, so if you already
play, you skip straight ahead.
BRING YOUR OWN SONG
Pick any track and AI pulls the real drums out of it and writes down what
the drummer played. Take their place, with a slider that brings the
original kit back whenever you want it.
TWO WAYS TO PRACTISE
The classic strip rides on top of the track, colour coded by piece. Or
switch to the rhythm game: four lanes, one line, and notes that fall
straight onto the pads. Timing first, coordination next.
EVERY HIT IS YOURS
Open the jam in the editor and move, add or remove any hit, in 16ths,
triplets or 32nds. It plays while you edit. Move the kit around too: drag
the pieces where your hands want them, four hi-hats if you like.
MADE BY AI, PLAYED BY YOU
Describe a style and AI paints your kit and generates its sounds: a
cyberpunk alley, a flat cartoon, a vintage blues room.
