Barely is an emoji check-in app — a quiet way to record how you feel and share a little of it with people who actually know you. WHAT IT IS • Pick an emoji. Choose the one that fits how you feel right now. That's the whole entry. • Add a word, or don't. Attach a short note if you want to. No photos, no video, no links — nothing to stage for anyone. • Share with a small circle. Join a group and the people in it see the emoji entry you posted. Everyone else sees nothing. No public feed to scroll. • One entry a day. No feed to refresh and no reason to post twice. • Takes barely a moment. A few seconds is enough to see how your group is doing. No infinite scroll, no algorithm working against you. • Focus on yourself. Barely reflects your own feelings back to you first. The point is noticing how you feel — not managing how you look to anyone. WHAT IT ISN'T • Not a social network. No follower count, no reach, no algorithm deciding who sees you. • Not a medical or crisis service. Barely does not diagnose, treat, or monitor anyone, and it cannot help in an emergency. If you are in danger or crisis, contact your local emergency number. • Not an attention business. No ads, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics watching what you do. Barely is free to use. A subscription unlocks extra groups, AI-generated group icons, and an extended emoji keyboard. Barely Premium is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
