After is a private breakup journal with no-contact support, mood check-ins, and an AI companion for the moments you want to text them, cry, or make sense of what happened. It also holds grief, bereavement, friendship loss, and losing a part of yourself.
Most apps make you pick a category that doesn't quite fit. After doesn't. Write freely about any kind of loss, and let the app meet you where you are. No program to follow, no streak to keep, no one to perform healing for.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-in. No cloud sync. Your journal entries, mood logs, and onboarding answers are stored on your device by default. When you use Chat, daily prompts, weekly reflections, or Arc, the relevant text is sent securely to generate the AI response and is not stored in a persistent database by After. After isn't a therapy app and doesn't diagnose or treat anything; it's a quiet place to put things down.
Whatever you're going through, your local journal remains yours to keep. You decide when to use the AI features.
