What is Chaka?
Chaka is a multiplayer board game inspired by classic Indian cowrie-shell race games. Each player guides four tokens around the board, rolls cowries for movement values, captures opponents when the rules allow, and works toward finishing all tokens. It is familiar if you love family board games—and deeper if you enjoy customizable house rules.
How to play
• Roll cowries to move. Open shells count as 1–3; all closed can count as 8.
• Race your tokens along outer and inner paths toward the center.
• Capture opponents, use safe zones carefully, and pair tokens when rules allow.
• Win by completing your tokens according to the rule set you choose.
