PHOTO INFO PRESERVED Your shots now keep their camera details — ISO, shutter speed, aperture, lens and capture date. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET The viewfinder and the saved photo now share the same colour handling, so the film recipes no longer shift between the screen and your library. STEADIER CAMERA The camera now shuts down properly when you leave the app and comes back cleanly, including right after a shot. Interruptions like a phone call say what happened instead of leaving the viewfinder frozen. COOLER WHEN IDLE Subject detection and live processing now stop while you're looking at a photo, so the app does less work when it isn't shooting.

SUBJECT TRACKING The camera now finds faces, people and pets on its own and keeps focus on them as they move. A reticle shows what it's following. Tap anywhere to override it, or turn it off with the TRACK button. BETTER FOCUS Fixed a bug where tapping locked focus and metering until you tapped again — the camera now returns to automatic when the scene changes. MORE RELIABLE SAVING Fixed a case where locking your phone right after the shutter could end the app before the photo finished saving. DEVELOPMENT TUNED PER DEVICE iPhones without Apple ProRAW now get their own RAW development pass, matched to how those files are captured.

SHARE FROM THE VIEWER Tap the share icon on your last shot to send the full-quality photo anywhere - no detour through the Photos app. SMOOTHER SHOOTING Rapid shooting is now managed with a processing indicator on the thumbnail, and your recipe settings are locked in the instant you press the shutter. FIXES AND POLISH Clearer camera and Photos permission screens, an accurate resolution button on every iPhone model, and VoiceOver support across all controls.
