Visual novel support (beta) — play KiriKiri, NScripter, and Ren'Py titles you own. Import a game's folder or archive from Files and read it the way it was meant to be seen: full-screen landscape, tap to advance, saves, history, and quick controls. Also in this update: • Read-aloud keeps going when the screen locks or the app is minimized • Fixed catalogue entries sometimes missing from the Available list • Fixed search results stretching into blank space • A new look for the app icon • Many smaller fixes Visual novels are in active development — some titles may not play correctly yet.

Cover cropping is here. When you set a custom cover you can now crop and frame it exactly how you want, instead of taking whatever shape the image came in. Quality of life: - The filter icon now lights up when your library is filtered, so hidden novels are never a mystery - Panels close instantly instead of drifting shut - The last item in Browse and Library no longer hides behind the bottom bar - List view now shows the same covers as the grid - Switching between Popular and Latest quickly no longer mixes up the results Sturdier: - Backups now include your catalogue list, so a restore brings everything back - Editing novel details is safer: a stray tap will not throw away your changes, and removing a genre keeps your other edits - Deleting all downloads asks first - Bigger touch targets and VoiceOver labels across the app - iPad: panels are sized properly instead of stretching edge to edge

This update fixes cover images: • Fixed: changing a novel's cover did nothing the new image is now applied properly • Fixed: images in your photo library couldn't be selected; you can now choose from Photos or Files • Added: a Restore option to put a novel's original cover back at any time • Fixed: custom covers were lost when a novel refreshed; your cover now stays until you choose to restore it • Fixed: saving a cover to Photos failed with an error • Fixed: covers displayed at reduced quality; the full-size original is now used • Fixed: covers were lost between launches and after app updates; they now load instantly and stay available offline
