EssayKraft now supports Markdown documents alongside rich text. Take quick notes in Markdown, perfect your essay in rich text - the choice is yours. - Sixteen citation styles. APA (7th edition), APA (6th edition), MLA, Chicago, Chicago (17th edition), Harvard (Cite Them Right), Elsevier Harvard, SAGE Harvard, Turabian, ASA, APSA, IEEE, ACM, CSE, Vancouver and Springer Basic. These styles are built on the same community-driven style definitions used by Zotero and Mendeley. - Import from Zotero and Mendeley. Bring your references in as BibTeX or RIS files, straight from the references panel, and export them back out the same way. Works with EndNote and journal sites, too. - Custom templates. Writing is personal, and the built-in templates may not be *your* template. Save any document as one, with its formatting, page setup, citation style and starter text, and start future documents from it in the new template gallery. - Authorship tracking. A private record of how each document was written; typing, pastes, and writing sessions, kept on your iPad and shared only if you choose. - Your writing record. The word-count pill gains sentience. Tap it and it opens into a card with the document's writing stats and authorship summary. - Predictive text. The system keyboard's inline predictions now work in the editor, so your iPad finishes words the way it does everywhere else. IMPROVED - The library's sort menu now truly reorders. Sort by Date, Title or Kind, reverse any order, and Markdown documents wear a badge. - Documents reopen at the spot you left them. - Full parity with the Mac for citation accuracy, including "p." versus "pp.", DOI handling and works without an author. - Rounded off some rough edges, literally. Pages now have a subtle corner radius to match the overall aesthetic of iPadOS and keep things feeling modern. FIXED - Opening and closing the sidebar now glides smoothly with the page. - A stray Done button could flash in the toolbar when opening Header & Footer. - The bibliography reliably appears at the end of the document again. - New documents no longer briefly show a phantom second page. - Deleting a document could fail.
