• Auto-split — Drop in a video and it splits into clean, equal clips. Choose the number of clips or the seconds per clip; SliceReel keeps you inside Instagram's limits (up to 20 items, 3–60 seconds each) automatically.
• Cover on the first frame — Add a text band or import your own cover photo. It's placed on clip 01's first frame — the exact frame Instagram uses as your carousel thumbnail.
• Live 3:4 grid preview — Instagram crops your profile grid to 3:4. SliceReel shows the precise crop and a safe-zone overlay, so your cover text never gets cut off. No more surprises after posting.
• Smart cover fit — Using a vertical cover on a landscape video? SliceReel keeps your cover's shape and fills the leftover space with black — no stretching, no ugly crops.
• Your native aspect ratio — Every clip keeps your video's real dimensions, so all slides match and what you shot is what posts.
• Export in order — Clips save to a dated album named 01…NN so they upload in the correct sequence. Mute the audio on export with a single toggle.
• Six app icons — Make it yours with a family of icon looks, from Aqua to Sunset to clean mono.
