Some that call themselves private transcribe on your phone, then quietly send the text to an AI service to be summarised. Mull does neither. Speech recognition and the AI summary both run on your device, on models stored on it. Your voice and your words never leave it — because there is nowhere for them to go. Mull writes it down, gives it a title, tags it and summarises it — automatically, in seconds, with no taps in between. A ten minute ramble becomes something you can actually use. • Send your notes to another iPhone or iPad. Open Mull on both devices, tap the one you want to send to, and everything goes straight over your local network. Nothing is uploaded, and anything already on the other device is skipped rather than duplicated. • Mull now works properly in Split View and Slide Over on iPad, so your notes can sit alongside whatever else you are doing. • Settings now tells you how long it has been since your last backup, and says so more firmly once it has been a while.
