Somewhere between waking up and getting out of bed, your phone already won. The feed took the first minutes of the day, the freshest ones, and your God got what was left. Sankalp turns that around.
You choose your deities. You choose the apps that eat your time. Sankalp rests those apps behind a moment of devotion, so the next time your thumb wanders toward Instagram, you meet your ishta-devata instead: a painterly portrait of them, luminous and calm, with a mantra to chant. Count a few beads and a soft bell opens your apps. A habit you never chose becomes smarana, a small remembrance repeated all through the day.
And if you skip? Nothing happens. There is no red screen waiting to scold you, because skipping is honest here. The lock is a seva we perform for you. It keeps the vow you take on day one: "my first minutes belong to my God, not my feed."
YOUR GODS, YOUR ALTAR
A library of deities, ranked to feel like home. Vinayaka comes first in one family, Venkateswara in another, and search understands the names you actually grew up saying. Nobody is chosen for you. No deity is tied to a weekday unless you tie them.
DARSHAN AT THE DOOR
Every unlock is a small ritual: see your God, chant, continue. Make it a quick 11, a steady 21, or a full 108-bead mala with a gentle pulse for each bead. If that sounds like a lot, "God-first mornings" rests your apps only until the day's first darshan.
A CALENDAR THAT KNOWS
A complete Panchang runs on your device: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, muhurta. Sankalp knows when Ekadashi arrives and when Pradosham falls, so the God who greets you fits the day. Your phone will know it is Ekadashi before you do.
VRAT, WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Fasting is an invitation here, and the choice stays yours. When you are ready, Sankalp walks with you from sankalp to parana. It marks the sacred days, ties the fast to the deity you are honoring, and celebrates quietly when you complete one.

• Deeksha: take a Hanuman or Ayyappa deeksha of 41 days, or set your own. Sankalp keeps your vow with you: the day count, a bead for each day kept, and a gentle hand on the apps your vow asks you to rest.
• Darshan Lock opens Sankalp straight from the lock screen on iOS 26.5, and after your darshan it carries you back to the app you reached for.
• "Not now" can remind you to return for darshan in 10 minutes or an hour (iOS 26.4 and later).
• One practice streak across darshan and japa, with rest days that don't break it.
• Onboarding is now five short screens. Nothing is forced: a God can always wait, and Darshan Lock is only ever an offer.
• The panchang explains itself: every term in plain words first, the whole month one tap away.
• Many fixes for readability, Hindi and Telugu, and dark mode.
