Pixio Canvas is an iPad drawing studio for Apple Pencil and a Pixio-powered AI companion. Start with a blank page or bring in an image from your Pixio Library, then sketch, refine, trace, and animate in one canvas.
DRAW YOUR WAY
Choose pen, pencil, marker, or eraser. Pick colors with a palette or eyedropper, change brush size, crop, zoom, pan, rotate, and work full screen across supported canvas shapes.
CHOOSE HOW THE COMPANION JOINS
• Quiet keeps the app focused on drawing.
• Whisper responds only when you tap the Spark.
• Duet responds after your pencil rests, with an adjustable Flowing or Patient rhythm.
Guide each pass with a style, strength control, and typed or spoken intent. Remove mode lets you mark what you want removed, while outpainting expands a scene beyond its current frame. Animate turns a drawing into a video you can play and share.
KEEP EVERY TURN EDITABLE
Companion results arrive as separate layers, leaving your ink untouched. Add and reorder drawing layers, change visibility and opacity, rename or duplicate layers, undo and redo edits, revisit companion turns, or branch from an earlier result. Canvases autosave to the on-device library.
LEARN WITH STENCILS
Browse 28 built-in tracing guides across animals, nature, people, objects, vehicles, and imagination. Search by subject or skill, place and transform a guide, or create a reusable custom stencil from a photo on your iPad. You can also ask Pixio to generate a tracing guide from a description.
Pixio Canvas can be used for drawing and built-in stencils without a Pixio key. Cloud companion features, Pixio Library access, generated stencils, and animation require an internet connection, a Pixio API key, and available Pixio credits. The key is stored in the device Keychain.
Before any AI request—including automatic Duet turns—Pixio Canvas explains what will be sent and asks permission. Permission can be changed anytime in Settings.
