• Just met someone? Describe them in your own words or dictate — AI fills in the new card, you check it before saving • Tell about this person now also fills in work, city and how you met, and skips what's already on the card • Onboarding: note what matters about your first person right away • Settings: a link to Rodovid, the family tree app by the same developer • Small fixes and improvements

• A new welcome: add the person who matters most right away — Kinfolio sets up their birthday reminder for you • Notification permission is requested only when you choose, with a clear reason • A "First steps" card on the People screen, and demo people are now labelled as examples • Kinfolio now speaks French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese • Encrypted backups and sync now use your phone's built-in encryption • Small fixes and improvements

• More date types: name day, first met, work anniversary, graduation, housewarming and more • Facts now have types for email, phone, address, socials and website — imported contacts get them automatically • Pick a type from a searchable list instead of a long dropdown • Meetings: people are matched by email and phone first. When a name fits several people, Kinfolio asks instead of guessing — and remembers your answer

• Swipe a person in the list to pin them to the top or delete — with a confirmation • Relationships: pick the type from a searchable list — no more dropdown • Your own relationship types (godparent, neighbor…) are saved and reused, with a usage count • Change the type of an existing relationship right from the card • New built-in type: Friend, plus icons for every type • Keep-in-touch reminders: set your own interval — every N days, weeks or months — and see the cadence and next reminder right on the card • Briefing for group meetings: everyone you know in one push, a participant count, and a “Group meetings” setting to skip large ones; Today now lists your upcoming meetings

Under-the-hood improvements and small stability fixes.

• Stability: finishing the welcome tour could close the app on the very first launch — fixed • The last step now shows progress while your demo cards are being prepared, so a second tap can no longer interrupt it

• Choose which calendars feed your pre-meeting briefing: Settings → Briefing → Calendars. Keep all of them or narrow it down to the ones that matter — birthday feeds and subscribed holiday calendars no longer compete with real meetings • Each calendar shows how many meetings it holds in the next 24 hours, so you can tell at a glance why a briefing is quiet • Stability fixes and polish

• New privacy control: an optional "Ad measurement" switch in onboarding and Settings → Privacy — off by default • Under-the-hood improvements and polish

• Contacts import now brings every field: phones, emails, addresses, company & role, important dates and relationships • Fixed "no new contacts" when only part of the address book is shared (iOS Limited Access) • Contacts you've already imported are clearly marked, so no duplicates • Rate Kinfolio or email the developer right from Settings • Gentle hints to guide your first steps • Polish and bug fixes

• Contacts import now brings every field: phones, emails, addresses, company & role, important dates and relationships — not just a name and photo • Fixed "no new contacts" when you shared only part of your address book (iOS Limited Access) — now with a shortcut to Settings • Contacts you've already imported are clearly marked, so no duplicates • Polish and bug fixes
