Planet Joy was once a thriving world of vast lands, countless people, and diverse cultures. Then, right after an unexplained catastrophe, most of the land sank beneath the sea, leaving only a scattering of tiny islands. The few survivors used these lands to rebuild civilization, and they named the place Joy City.
Joy City is said to be the only habitable place left on Planet Joy. Its people share one goal: to create new places where people can live and raise their own civilizations. No one can yet cast the ultimate magic that raises land from the sea, so their territory is small. Fortunately, they have many gates leading to places in other dimensions. Through these gates they gather knowledge and gain all kinds of experiences. By playing games and working, the people of Joy City sharpen their focus, and in time they learn to use magic.
Joy City is neither the future nor the past. It is simply another place in the same time we live in now. When we log in to Joy City, we truly enter it as our own alter egos, created through the network left behind by the old civilization.
Hearing the story of Joy City, many people who want to see its civilization bloom and live happily there are arriving through the remains of the old world. As more people gather and their wishes grow stronger, Planet Joy will gradually regain its warm and bountiful past. Until that day, they make friends, take up jobs, and build a new frontier in Joy City.

Bug fixes and improvements
- Turning on a fireplace now dims only the room background, not the items
- You can catch pigs and pops with the smile emote while riding aircraft (Stealth, Blu-ray, etc.)
- On iPad, tapping outside the stall price field now just dismisses the keyboard
- Incomplete verification codes no longer use up an attempt
- Adjusted the nickname position for the Demon Temptation outfit
