SOS WHEN SECONDS COUNT
Hold the SOS button and it does everything at once: a loud alarm to the emergency contacts you chose, your live location so help can come straight to you, and your local emergency number one tap away. By default the alarm breaks through Do Not Disturb — and that's yours to control. Your exact coordinates stay on screen to read out loud, and you see who's on the way. Every part of it is free forever — not a trial, not a subscription. Real safety shouldn't sit behind a paywall.
Kymber alerts the people you added. It does not contact emergency services for you.
SILENT SOS
Reach one person without a sound and without a scene. The alarm is optional, nothing lights up your screen, and it never appears in your history.
LIVE LOCATION SHARING, ON YOUR TERMS
Share your live location with a trusted contact for as long as you want, and stop anytime. Send a one-time ping, or ask for a check-in — they control their answer. Every share is one-way. The only thing that continues in the background is a live share you started yourself, visible until you stop it.
SAY IT IN YOUR OWN VOICE
Add a short voice note to a share or a ping, so the people you chose can hear what's happening. It records only when you tap record.
CHECK ON ME
Heading somewhere alone? Set a time to check in by. Miss it, and the contacts you chose are asked to look in on you.
MEET UP WITHOUT THE GROUP-CHAT SCRAMBLE
Pick a place and time and see who's on their way, live location optional as you go. Change the time, postpone, answer "maybe," or send a "running late" ETA.
KYMBER GROUPS — SAFETY MEDIA, NOT SOCIAL MEDIA
A trusted-contacts-only board for the places you've actually been. No strangers, no feed to perform for, no broadcasting where you are.
PRIVATE LETTERS
Send a note, a card, a heartfelt letter, or a quiet check-in to one trusted contact. Show your name or stay anonymous. Let it expire, or delete itself the moment it's read.
UNAVAILABLE & STEALTH
Flip to Unavailable and everything goes quiet, or go fully dark with Stealth. The only thing that breaks through is a true SOS.
SAFETY & PRIVACY BUILT IN
• Location only while you're using Kymber — never "always," never on its own.
• Your address book is never read. You add trusted contacts yourself.
• Block a sender or report abuse, and they're never told. An SOS still comes through.
• Emergency and everyday Trusted contacts stay separate.
• No account to create and no password to leak. Optional backup with Sign in with Apple or Google carries your settings to a new phone.
• Delete a letter, a contact, your history, or your whole account — anytime.
Most apps just choose not to. With Kymber, you have a product. You are never the product.
FREE FOREVER, AND WHAT MEMBERSHIP ADDS
The safety essentials — the SOS button, sending your location, "I'm on my way," and Silent SOS — are free forever. Every new account starts with 7 days of everything unlocked, with nothing to enter and nothing to cancel. After that, the everyday features (letting contacts reach you, live sharing, Meet Up, Letters, and Groups) come with Kymber membership.
Kymber membership is $11.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel any time in Settings, under your name, in Subscriptions. A one-time $1.99 unlocks unlimited contacts.
