Play a friend across the world, pass a phone across the table, or take on a bot. Take turns adding letters to a growing word fragment. Finish a word, you lose the round. Every move must keep the fragment on a path to a real word, and a dubious opponent can challenge you to name one. It's a race toward a word you must never finish. Outmaneuver your opponent letter by letter until the only move they have left completes the word. Rounds play for a tally that grows with every letter. Push it higher when you like your position, bail out when it turns on you. Losers pay, winners collect, and the match ends when one of you runs dry.
